Looking for an old fishing Book

I'm after a book i had when i was a kid. It was an Angling Times (i think) published book. The booked was based on an guys fishing year and the pages where painted rather then photos and displayed in a comic style. I did find it again a few years ago. But seems all of my angling books where lost in the last move.

If anyone has any ideas. please let me know

I think the book that you're on about is Angler's Mail "Coarse Fishing Year" originally published by Hamlyn in 1990. ISBN 0 86283 881 9. Original UK price £7.99. It's based on the Fishing Diary colour strip, featuring Dave Coster, photographed whilst fishing and then the pics used as reference for illustrations by Tony Whieldon. Good luck.

Yes I am sure the book you mean is 'Anglers Mail Coarse Fishing year ', which features Dave Coster fishing places such as the Hampshire Avon, River Derwent , Broadlands Lake etc. Tony Wheildon's excellent artwork throughout
make this one of my favourite angling books .
