Just booked a trip to Ballyconnell area in late May. Have been to Ireland a few times but not this area, so wondered if anyone has any knowledge of this area.
In particular am staying on the banks of the Woodford River/Ballinamore Canal so wondered what this was like. Know it's canalised.
Have found some info on the local lakes....Garadice etc but any info from recent visits would be appreciated!
