I'm not to big a supporter of the trust but didn't some buffoon at natural England have some thing to do with it not being captured while it was in a lock?
It just goes to show what anglers are up against when it comes to joe public and animals with big sad eyes.

In the river for nearly two years and still no solution, and the trust still seeking a way to return it to the sea.
Meanwhile it has the trusts seal of approval to keep on munching, you could not make it up.
We anglers have no chance.
