Fish welfare, does this look dodgy??

Had a couple of bream out of stillwater this afternoon, then caught this

Is it worth reporting to the owners? Looks a bit fishy to me :)

Aren't they argulus (fish lice)? If so, it's not necessarily the damage they do that's the problem, but the secondary bacterial infections that can proliferate in the damage sites. It's usually more common where fish densities are high.

At the very least, you should inform the fishery owner, so he/she can adopt a dipping protocol to prevent spread.

Anything you're not sure about is always worth mentioning to the owner.

The water has an all nets to be dipped policy at all times.
Il call in tomorrow and show them the pics. Cheers

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't an outbreak and find all the fish floating in a few days.
