Broken Landing Net Handle

Hi

The spreader block on my old one piece landing net pole gave up the ghost yesterday.

So i need a new one, i've done a quick google/ebay search and there are abouta gazzillion options. It seems that mostly you get the net and handle together.

Now i don't need a new net, credit crunch and all that, i'd really just like a new pole with a spreader block that my old net can fit into.

Now as a long time reader of the forum i know you boys are going to want to help me out but you need more info so here we go.

1. Pole should be no longer that 2m

2. It mustwork with my old net,now i think it's a 42incher, but i assume its the diameter of the arms that is important as they must fit snugly into the spreader block...or is there only one diameter ?

3.Telescopic would be nice but not essential

4. Mainly i fish for carp so needs to be pretty robust.

5. I don't mind too much about it being really really light..i don't carry my gear far or often enough for that to be an issue.

6. I really would like it not to cost the earth...£20 ? or is that just to little.

7. Or should i just stop being a tight arse and buy a new net and pole combo ?

Thanks in advance for any guidance
