I hope that they fare better than I did of Withernsea.
First off I fell out of the Kayak in a flat calm sea in February.

One minute I was paddling out from the shore, glassy calm sea, looking up at the shore angler's lines so that I could pick my way through and the next thing I knew I was kneeling on the bottom wishing that I'd done my neck seal up From what I could gather there was a rogue wave, possibly the wash from a tanker that had caught me at 45 degrees and rolled the boat. All my leads and some bait that were loose in the cockpit were lost.
There were four or five of us. We spent the best part of the day fishing for one measly codling. All the time I was paddling and drifting I had the fish finder on and there was not a single bleep came from it. Just one endless flat bottom devoid of fish.
