hi all

This sunday night just gone I was fishing for carp. The last cast in was about 8.30 pm with no run through the night. I reeled in about 9.30am and as the spool filled I noticed the line was dirty and stood out to the line already on the spool. This must surely make the line visible in the water which when you consider the 3ft of leadcore and aback lead do I really need to be spending 15 quid on a supposedly invisible line instead of just spending 7 quid on some sensor.

Any advice welcome, thanks

This is a common problem and is simple to fix. YACs do a new range of alcahol based wipes for cleaning you line.

The line i used was brand new .The problem is,when the line has been in the water for some hours the dirty particles come to rest on your line making it visible. So instead of spending ?15 on a so called invisible line I may aswel save my cash and use sensor. As Frothey points out you don't need it if your line is on the bottom near the business end
