guys im after a bit of info ive got 3days off work in sept and fancy a few nights fishing with a good mate of mine ive fished most lakes around the south at on time or another the largest being argal in which ive had a few but have to put in a lot of time in.

we just want to find a good runs water with mid 20lb would be good and some were you can fish with out the worry your gonna get your car done over and doesnt cost the earth to fish.

dave if you read this i would be grateful of your help, i like the look of stradford moor is it still running and can you night fish?

many thanks

stafford - can night fish, definately runs, probably get a twenty or two. does get really busy this time of year (though they "book" the swims, so if you phone, you'll at least get on there) and the swims can be quite close together.

Furzebray is a cracking looking lake, can be tricky and the fish aren't that big.... yet....

have you tried Velocity up near bridgewater? some decent fish in there.....
