Cross country carp barrow racing with obstacles such as gates and fences to climb. All loaded up with tackle and first past the post is winner unless they have lost tackle.

Sincronised spodding and marker float. Team event with 6 anglers per team.

Lure fishing srint finnish. Lure laid out over a 1000 meters away and first to retrieve back to rod tip.

But surely we must consider the Scousers. Throwing the hubcap and fencing (getting cash for nicked goods in the fastest time possible),should be included.

No!! NO SCOUSERS! they would have the gates of the olympic village down the scrappy in double quick time. And then the place would be full of more scallye in white vans selling knock off carpet.

You could have the carptathlon, consisting of endurance spodding, single handed boilie throwing, 10metre dash whilst peeing. speed bivi erecting. and the 100 metre alarm sprint/target catty.

Good list of alternatives but I think the speed Bivi erection would be best screened on late night Channel 4, but may not get past the dope testing.
