Preferably just a tip section (broken in an act of unparallelled clumsiness:eek:), but I'll be happy to buy a full rod :)

Bump. Fixed the tip by using a section of carbon quivertip as a spigot and then whipping over the break. The action's only a little stiffer and the repair doesn't look too obvious.

Still looking for another, though :)

Sorry, cant help with the rod but when you do that sort of repair try and find a section of an old fiberglass rod. The glass is not as stiff as the carbon and you won't get that flat spot.

Thanks, Titus. It was all I had that was the right size, so it had to do. Fortunately, the edges of the break married up perfectly, so it was a fairly simple job in the end.
I'd already "replaced" it with a Browning Commercial King F1 ten footer, but it's not as well balanced as the Pro Performance rod. Part of that may be down to the ultra-short handle on the Browning, which means that the effective length of the rod in front of the handle is increased by 6".
