Filming at the lake

The BBC are filming a history program at our Estate Lake in a few weeks time about the English Civil War. they are filming on and around the ancient Bridge that crosses our lake up to the old Manor house.

I don't know the history details yet but apparently there was a famous battle near by.

No-wonder there are a lot of strange ghostly happenings around the lake at night (see link below) LOL.. and in the two old pubs either side of the entrance gate; on Watling street, that appeared on that ghost program on the box (Most Haunted) LOL..

Funny you should say that, we do have a couple of anglers like that in the club already. LOL
