hi I have inherited some old hardys tackle and am thinking of selling it,can anyone recommend an auctioneer? I have found one mullocks anybody dealt with them,thanks.

Mullock's of Church Stretton are fine. Their antique tackle man, John Stephenson, is friendly, not up himself, honest, hugely well-informed and all-round excellent. Old centrepin aficianados looking to do a double-take / have an instant coronary should ask him just whose historic reels he will be selling in his July 13th 2014 sale.

Depends where you are. Hartleys are the big name up in the north of England

I look in on the Bonhams auction every now and then, quite a few Hardy pieces pass through their rooms.
