Thinking of trying these for Tench in sizes 12 / 14 / 16 , maggots and casters hookbaits , also considering the Korum Xpert hooks , and Pallatrax 'the hook' ; all quite similar patterns , shortish shank , wide gape beak point . Anyone care to offer their thoughts and opinions ?
Many thanks

They all look similar to my eye, short shank wide gape beak point.Only difference is the price.Korum being the cheapest by far.Have used them all in size 10 & 12 all ok no issues

Hi Dave,
Just remember wire thickness is king when it comes to hook penetration.

A touch with a stone before and during use and most fine wire, forged hooks will do the job far better than someting thick enough to hold a 100lb tuna.

Totally agree about Owners, superb for anything in the serious catagory.
