Home made cheese paste add some spices of your choice and dip the lot in bovril before you cast!but make the paste fairly firm and keep the bovril warm as you can? it works very well indeed and dont cost a bomb,of coarse meat or bread paste is good stuff too!!/forum/smilies/tongue_out_smiley.gif

All sorts mate!sweetcorn ,baked beans, luncheon meat, macaroni cheese, sugar puffs, prawns, bread, jelly sweets, roasted peanuts, brazil nuts, chick peas, the list goes on and on and thats just hook baits let alone groundbait and additives point is theres loads but i dont think youll do to bad with sweetcorn and luncheon meat! however remember its better to have a crap hookbait on a fishes head rather than a good one 50 yards away from a fish ! one bait thatmight be worth a try though is cockles and mussles in a jar proven catcher that one mate!/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

Meal worms are worth a go. You will find them at local pet stores for feeding spiders and so on.
