A Tribute to Eric Hodson

I was privillaged to be able to class Eric as one of my closest friends for many years, rest in peace old mate.

I have loads of pictures of Eric from our last trip to France when we had two weeks together, they are on slide though, so I need to get them scanned in, we took quite a number of good fish to 38lb, we met up with a number of members from the Manchester Group and occassionally visted the local village for a meal together and all sailed back together, I have lots of pictures on the boat and all sorts which I need to convert. Eric was a picture sat in his bivvy, always well dressed with his pipe in his mouth and a tie on, a true gentleman of angling, I miss him dearly. We used to travel all over the country to attend meetings and visited many waters together.
