can I fix a rod I cant get replacements for?

Hi guys, I had a hand me down mitchell spinning rod which had a lot of sentimental value.

The model is a gypsy 180, its 4-15 gram. 1.8 metres.

One trip I got a snag and the top half of tbe rod snapped... I feel awful.

I was curious as to whether you can combinerod parts effectivly because I ca t locatethe model online.
