just of late i have been taking my dogs for a walk near a big drain and have stumbled on some very nice carp!(a couple that are very nice and a shock to find in a water this size)

now i have been watching them for a while now and have chosen the swim to have a bash at them .they have started to show an interest in my free offerings but the only thing is there is a pair of swans still nesting in sead swim(bloody climate change)

im under no impression these carp are gonna be easy to catch as the place is around six foot deep and has a fair bit of weed at the moment but these carp have cleared an area big enough to have a bash at them.

if anyone has any advice that may help me please feel free to let me know as im having a bash as soon as the swans have left the nest.

just keep dumping mixed particles - pigeonconditioner and maize - in the swim. 6ft is too deep for the swans to get, and the carp will clear the weed.
