Lancashire Region Meeting

On Friday 28th November at Crompton Working Mens Club, Shaw ,Oldham

Doors open at 7pm for 8pm start.

Guest speaker is Ade Kiddell subject Barbel fishing all around the country

All welcome members £3-00 non members £5-00 ladies and juniors free.

Raffle,tackle & bait stands.

I'll put the dress on..you just wear grey shorts ...if we turn up just before they start; they'll all be too tight to notice.

If its near where Wendy used to work wear your shin pads /forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif.....I blooming well hope it serves a decent pint!

Carnt make this one as I will be at work. Fred it says Lancashire meeting . But you are holding it in greater manchester I might be totally wrong but I would off thourt most people fishing for barbel in lancashire would be fishing the ribble ? could you not hold one more around the Preston area ? I suppose its swings and roundabouts .Its just i would be able to sneek away an hour or so early

It's part ofthe overall region Brendan, they may well do that in due course.

Oldham Brendon is in the county of Lancashire. Pre 1973 before the political meddlers invented Gt. Manchester. Lancashire finished the Ashton-under-Lyne side of the River Tame. Stalybridge was in Cheshire then.

On my Birth certificate it says Ashton-u-Lyne Lancashire. A fact I'm proud of!
