I saw Barrie yesterday and he is improving well. He reckons he can walk about 100 yards now before needing to sit down.

Since the start of his illness he has been writing reams and reams of stuff, beats me how he does it. There's a good chance there will be a steady stream of new books appearing in the months ahead.

We are having a day out on Grafham next week, it will be interesting to see how he gets on with a big old rainbow on the end of his line.

His enthusiasm is boundless.

Nice to hear that Barrie is OK.

Colin, next time you see him, ask him about the Ray Webb biography?

And tell him there are quite a few people who want to read it.

It's his first day out fishing for probably 6 months and I think by the look on his face he was enjoying himself?
