a 3lb 7oz roach ( sorry to use your picture Mike, but it is just for a comparison as a reliable source)

and an 11lb carp

????? did not realise that the relative density of carp was 3 times that of roach

that carp must have an amazing swim bladder to be able to surface feed.

Mossy, nice fish.

Keep at it and they will get bigger.

Top tip.

Wet your net and zero the scales and get a good picture. Looks like you're holding it at an angle, try to get it full on and upright.

And try not to hold your arms out straight like Slimey, hold it close to your body, so as not to give a false size.
