i fish a small coloured pond with a island and weedbeds. they is lots of small fish roch rudd etc. im trying to get the carp they grow to about 20lb but most are 7-10lb. i was wondering what baits i could use to get the bigger carp. bollies, paste, pellets are band also and any good float rigs.

Have you tried big ol Cambells meatballs then Nicky? Should come into there own in the next few months, try flavouring them with a boilie dip and feed the small meaty bites as a groundbait/attractor.

meat is to overfished to make things more harder i was thinking about lob worms.
