I was out for a walk down the river over the weekend. I came across an angler and he was super gluing soluble aspirin to his hook then flinging his rig into the water.

I thought, "He's casting dispersions!"

A very pleasant read I would have also liked more info on distance casting competitions , the first time I hit a glof ball with a wood I got 180 yards so I might be in with a chance , though my lads will probably cane me , anyway off to the google'o'tron.

290 yards is around the record ( I don't go that far on me holidays )

The last time I checked, the furthest recorded cast was a little over 312 yards. I don't usually walk that far without a flask and a packed lunch! Oh, and it was a Welshman too! :)
