wont take the bait

when fishing the margin,the carp are everywere but wont take the bait.i change the bait ,go over depth,up in the water,what am i doing wrong.any tips,

Have you tried bread on the top tony? Great fun floating bread under the rod tip.

sorry idid not get back to the site had trouble getting log on,never tried floating bread will give it a try thanks bill,will let you know
