Graham was not replaced as editor for FM?

What if...

Magicallia closed the doors and shut down FM?

Ask yourself this these questions:

Where would you spend your virtual life?

How would you exchange angling ideas?

Where would you get your articles published?

How would you arrange fish-ins and make new friends?

Where would you get information and reviews on angling products?

Where would you find information on tackle and bait suppliers?

Where would amuse and abuse your mates on the web?

Where would learn new angling ideas?

Where else do you have the means of expressing your opinions and ideas?

WHere else are they numerous easy links to tackle and bait suppliers?

All this is for free. How much would you pay per year if there was a subscription fee?

The list is endless.

Something to think about ........

Very worrying Matt

FM would be shut down if the companies who advertised here stopped paying for adverts

The companies who advertise here would stop paying for adverts if anglers stopped buying gear.

Anglers would stop buying gear if they didn't see reviews, arrange fish-ins, learn new ideas, abuse mates, make new friends.

A vicious circle I fear

I think I would have to go fishing-what else could replace FM.......to make me feel better I have a Graham effigy to stick pins in-that will teach him for leaving us in the lurch........................even so I still cry a lot....

Anyway,I thought we had a perfect replacement in Cakey(or was it Fred?).............and you seem to have lots of good ideas from the threads you start and take part in so why don't you start a 'Corkermagic'(or Mattmagic)site as an alternative?

I would pay(let me think)lets say around a tenner a year as long as Free maggots were included!

Personally I would have no where to write the rubbish that the voices in my head keep telling me to write.

Challenge is our middle name, and I have taken that challenge (and come out of the other end so to speak).

Should FM ever close down, then here is a worthy replacement I can tell you, and soon a little bird tells me to have its own forum, where you can discus all related issues and the latest treatments for your farmer Giles even!
