hi all wondering if you can give me some advice on method feeder fishing what brand mainline+hooklength would you ose on commercial fisheries for carp

Anything you like really. Everyone will have their own particular favourite and no two will entirely agree on anything.

Don't skimp on cost though. Buy quality branded products, not some unknown import. Also get a good breaking strain that will suit the size of fish you're going to catch and match that with a slightly lower B/S hooklink.

If you want to use monofilament on the reel, lines made by Drennan and Maxima are inexpensive and reliable.

For the more expensive copolymer lines which have a higherbreaking strain compared with the same diameter of normal monofil, then use Drennan Double Strength (I use 8lb) or Daiwa TDR, a fairly new line.

These lines will also do for hook lengths.
