A farmer has given me some Maize Cobs fresh from his field.

How do I prepare these for Carp fishing from a Cob, or any links etc. showing how.

Such as removing the kernels then preparation for fishing.

thanks

Same way you would corn on the cob for eating. Strip outer leaves off, boil for 20 -30 minutes in saltwater. Take a sharp knife cut a row out then work your way around the husk row on row.

As bad one says but do you know if they are feed maize for livestock or a super sweet variety for human consumption?

If they are the super sweet variety.......eat them yourself smothered in melted butter and a dash of salt, it would be such a waste to give them to fish :D
