Is there a tackle shop up to 30+ miles from Lincoln that not all carp tackle, I went to 3 shop in Lincoln yesterday to buy a dead bait (Greys or Fox) rod 12ft 3.0TC all said they can order one but I want the handle the rod before buying , I don't want to use EBay to get tackle

Neville Fickling's shop in Gainsbrough might be worth a look. It's less than twenty miles from Lincoln and they stock both Greys and Fox. I know a few pikers in my neck of the woods that make the trip fairly regularly.
