Just saying "Hi"! I'm based in Surrey but only returned to the UK in 2006 after 20 years travelling. As a result I'm an avid spin fisherman and have done most my fishing in Sweden and Norway. I'm currently about to try drop shotting for the first time using my beloved Sage SP 370-3 and have just ordered a specialist lure pike rod from Dave Lumb (a Raider) which will be a bit more appropriate for large predator fishing. I love to fish as minimalistically as possibly, always hunting light and rarely sat down. I'd make an awful carp fisherman. 
Anyways, looking forward to joining a local club and helping my 6 y/o son ease his way into the sport. He just caught his first trout last summer.
