Spend 7 Nights in the UK's premier wildlife hotspot to photograph species such as Black Grouse, Pine Marten, Red Squirrel and Crested Tits to name a few. Snow caped mountains, caledonian forests and wide expanses of moorland offer a huge variety of habitats for wildlife which we will explore.

This workshop works on giving passionate wildlife photographers a wide range of highland species. The course works on field craft, camera controls, lens choice and using hides to capture those spilt second shots. The group will be split into two with Josh Jaggard taking half the group and Jack Perks the other to reduce disturbance to wildlife and maximise chances of getting images.

Although beginners are welcome, a basic understanding of camera controls (aperture, shutter speed and ISO) will improve your chances of getting quality wildlife images.

The lodge at Glenlivet where we stay has bird feeders outside the windows with most garden birds visiting with siskins being a regular feature also and red squirrel feeders in the woods behind us. The River Livet at the bottom of the lodge has otter, Atlantic Salmon and good numbers of dipper.

Although some locations are very close to car parks and require little effort getting to them, others like the climb for mountain hare & ptarmigan are not advised for the less able bodied but feel free to get in touch if your unsure.

Included in the price is accommodation in a lodge in the Glenlivet estate in the heart of the Scottish Highlands as well as breakfast and packed lunch. Evening meals are not included but cooking facilities are available on site with fridge/freezer also.
