Most of the stuff further up the A1 from Hatfield is club season ticket or carp focussed day ticket waters, although there can still be a few bream or tench present.

I found a lovely old estate lake on a limited numbers season ticket that was famed for tench in the 60s and is still a half decent bream and tench water, but it would be unfair to publicise it.

I am now off to Norfolk where there are more bream and tench fisheries without carp - although theres massive carp about too if you lack imagination to fish for anything else.
