(Spinner ?) Fishing near Glasgow

Hi all,
I'm a newbie (to this site and to fishing).
Been fishing at fisheries a few times and hoping to into fly fishing soon!
For now tho I am fishing with a spinner rod and trying to find somewhere that me and a few friends can get out on a boat and have an enjoyable day fishing. Problem is all the places I have found online (eg Lake of Menteith, Carron Valley Reservoir) say fly fishing only......
Any advice , suggestions?

when I was working in Glasgow about 12 years ago I used to fish Loch Lomond I think it was £2.00 per day or £20.00 per season for coarse (lure or deadbait )
