Hi everyone,

I go coarse fishing about 5 times a year so I am still very much the amateur.

Hoping to get out a lot more this Summer, I am in need of a bit of advice so a little patience may be in order (sorry).

I have recently relocated from Runcorn to Bolton so it would be great to get in touch with the local fishermen in my area to help out with advice of local waters etc.

Hi Zoe,
Welcome to the mad-house - we are a fairly un-PC mob here - IF any of the comments cause you alarm or distress -please complain to the Moderators - it'll give them something to do apart from worrying when the next centre-pin wars is about to break out! :eek::D:eek:mg:

I'm over in Wigan, but fish some of the Bolton waters including the River Croal in season as well as some of the Commercials - most of which need your own transport to get to.
