Stupid question I guess, can the Preston reflo power line be used for normal line for waggler fishing? A lot of adverts say hook length line?

Not really Martin ,its a pole m/l ,pole h/l line or used for H/L for rod and line..Gazza

Sorry for being thick! Is it ok to use as main line? I am not a pole fisherman and wouldn't know where to start!

I don't go with the general concensus here. I use it for all my pole fishing, hook lengths and rig lengths, but also use the 0.20 (10lbs) size for feeder fishing with no problems. I find it a good product. Pete.

for what it's worth I have used it for running mainline and have been more than happy with it. Currently using supplex as mainline, on which the jury is still out.
Probably the best mono on the market...For hook links/pole line!
