No freebies nowadays I'm afraid but when I was a kid my dad ran a slaughterhouse and supplied the local maggot farm with stuff to breed the maggots on and in return I would get a gallon and a half of maggots a week... All this when the Trent was in the stick float heydays.

I wasn't slow off the mark either and asked for them on a Thursday instead of a Friday so I could sell 'em to all the kids in the playground at half the shop price ready for the weekend, a nice little earner which kept me in fags throughout my entire middle to late education
