Here we go again

I'm returning to fishing after a lay up of too many years. Family and life in general taking all my time. Then one day having a clear out I came across what remained of my old kit and that was it, I took me back to fishing on the Frome and the Sharpness canal in and around Gloucester many, many years ago. Needless to say I have 'tackled up' and have joined a local angling club. I mainly float fish with a little ledgering but I'm hankering after having a go for some of the carp that inhabit the lakes. Anyway that's me, just saying hi to everyone.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

Unfortunately I don't live by the Frome any more - in fact here on the east coast I'm about as far as it's possible to get.

We do have some nice lakes around these parts though and as soon as I get a day off, I'll be at the club water that I joined only last week.

I can't believe how far things have moved on - a bit more research is needed I think.
