Started up fishing again after a lay off of more than 10 years. Had kept all my kit so thought I'd be good to go. . . £1000 + spent replacing and updating gear for the carp . . . Can't believe how much things have changed. I'm ready for my first thirty now!

Enjoy the forum. Only a grand so far? In pursuit of a 30 it could get a lot higher!

Lol tell me about it Stu! Every time I think that's it now I see something better or new to buy, tackle shops should carry a government wealth warning. . .

I think that Richard Walker once said something along the lines of...Most tackle is designed to catch anglers, not fish.

Never a truer word spoken.

Truer words never been spoken. I'm not quite a 'tackle tart ' yet. . . .?
