Going back to river severn near coalport to get some mere nice perch,brown trout. Last time I went there with my mate, I was not so lucky but he did manage to get a good size Brown...so he was more then pleased..;)The plan was to go there this coming weekend, but looks like I am not gonna make it...

Are you sure it was a brown and not a small salmon or a sea trout?
I have caught both of the latter from around Ironbridge and Coalport but only ever seen the former come from the area around the Cound brook confluence a few miles further up.
