Has anyone got an idear of the chubb record on the river severn around
the coalport area myself not sure were to look as I said in another post I had one of 5LB 1/4OZ

I can't find anything close to definitive via Google. However, I'd be very surprised if the Severn chub record wasn't at least 7lb, probably a fair chunk more.

I'd be quite surprised if the Chub Study Group don't keep individual river records.

The CSG record is 6.07, caught in 2006 by Darren McCann of Hookbait Company fame on one of his own River Secret boilies
