Tidal Trent

Are chub, in any numbers, still caught in the tidal Trent? Would like to have a crack at them on the centrepin. Haven't fished the river for years. Thinking of venues like North and South Clifton, Torksey, Besthorpe etc. Must be a few on here who fish the above places. Any information gladly accepted.

Not so many in the areas you mention as some may think tho up in the Clifton area their was a really big "loner" taken a year or so ago.
That said there are lots of little chublets showing this year so prospects look a little brighter.
