Hi all, I have fished regularly from our beaches for the last 40 odd years but have decided I would like to try carp fishing.

So my question is; please advise on some easy carp lakes preferably in Hampshire, where it is almost certain to catch carp.

Thanks all.

I am not quite sure how rewarding it will be for you to be certain or almost certain to catch carp. Maybe I'm a bit old school and believe there's a bit more to coarse fishing than that.
But good luck in Hampshire, all the same!

G'day Mate,

If you Google the FLE Fishery (it used to be called Greenridge Farm), one of the lakes has more carp than water if you're looking to get back into it. The other three are a bit more mixed.

Bestest,

Phil :)

Many thanks for the replies.
At least this way I will have a starting point to try out some tactics / rigs etc. At the moment carp fishing seems a world away from how I would usualy fish from the beach.

No discussion on Hampshire carping would be complete without a mention of Broadlands Lake (google it, has own website), near to Southampton.

Trust and hope it helps. :)
