Quivertip for River Roach

I am going to fish the Thames (@Charvil)tomorrow and fancy trying eithermaggot or ground bait feeder on a quivertip rod. Inormally fish the float so any tips would be appreciated.

Use a small feeder and cast regular......if the swim ismedium ( 6ft to 8ftish)close in feed by hand about 6 maggs every couple of mins and fish down the swim.

Try to make sure you hit and hold the same spot with the feeder and gradull built a swim up..........if you are fishing float or feeder little and often is the best rule to feed.

Get the feeder just holding station emptyby adding or removing lead.
