Silstar 3545-300

Evening all ..

My all time fave rod my Silstar is having ring problems on the top section and the quiver tips .

Can anyone suggest a place that can replace said rings for me , I know i an buy rings but these days i doubt i could whip them on as neatly as i would like to see .

I would like to retain the the original look of the rod .

Any suggestions please , All the places i have taken it to so far are only interested in flogging me a new rod the general comment id bin it and buy something decent , well this rod to me is very decent i have new rods but still prefere to use the Silstar whenever i can ..

Hi trotter .

Yes this is one of those rods yes it has the sliding rings on a cork handle but i have found ways to old the reel where i want it .

I aquired it for a fiver some time ago and have loved it ever since so it will be rebuilt/ringed and back into service ..
