Used them this season and last, can't fault them myself. A friend of mine says his go quieter when its raining, but I have never experienced this with mine.

I have two and am building up to a set of 4 so the missus has some too. At £20 each they are spot on. I'm not really concerned about not having a receiver as to be honest I generally pull my rods in when I go to sleep anyway. I get a better nights sleep and just set my alarm to get up before first light.
