Male, Age 53, living in the west of the Netherlands. Have been angling on and off but never a year without fish to the best of my knowledge.
Fly, pole, match, spinning, about anything. I seem to get old because I sometimes get nostalgic over the simplicity of angling a few decades ago.
Other interests are sailing (taking up time and preventing me from going fishing), amateur radio (taking up more time, preventing me from going sailing) and a job to finance the whole thing (taking the best part of my time and preventing me to go do one of the above).
Sometimes I have the boat with me, a few rods and a radio to meet some friends which makes it all worth while
