Claudia I had it on a spinnerbait. I've written a bit more about the session on 'big pike are not hard to catch' thread.

Can't go wrong getting a couple though Claudia they're good lures.

Not a clue on Zander Claudia. Just repeating what I've read here so not my knowledge. But I've heard chubby shads are good. So any other smallish soft plastic could be worth a try?

Cheers....I also read to use smaller ones then you would for Pike....but to be honest...I only ever done spinning 3 times so far and I have no idea about spinning or lure/spinners.

certainly looks good...correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like a single hook to me, intead of a treble

Yes they have a single hook, facing upwards aswell. so you can fish them through most weeds or along the bottom and most of the time they come back clean.

like my sea chads....which gives me an idea.....I got small spoons/spinners and smallish squid shads in different colour....I could try to make some up myself /forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif
