Anybody got any good tips on how to make a stage stand as I only use a carp rod the odd time and makes it easier trying to find soft ground to put bank sticks in.
And thing that could be used to make 1 I've been thinking off all sorts but come up with nothing.

Use a wardrobe rail end bracket and a piece of tubing.

Matrix also make these kind of stage stands. I must say i liked the older model Matrix made.

The new one,s limit you to just using the bank stick that screws into it. The old model you had about 3 to 4 inches sticking up from the base, this meant you could use longer bank sticks as you could tighten the bank stick in place via a screw in the side of the tube sticking up from the base. The bank stick on the old model didn't screw into the base as the new does, so you had more options.
