Today I was fishing my local fishery and was using the 24G hybrid feeder and pellet etc.and had a good 5 hour 9 carp to 10 lb 2 bream and a koi but I noticed my quiver tip on my small browning force wand i was using is only 0.5oz 14g should I of had a heavier tip in or am I just being a bit paranoid ? As my feeder was 24g plus bait in there etc. Also the tips are glass

Any help much appreciated

The rating of a quiver tip bears no relation to the weight of your feeder. The rod as a whole dictates what you can comfortably cast and how far. All quiver tip ratings really are is an indication of bite sensitivity.

Thankyou very much for that I always try and use the lightest tip for carp etc in commercials

The glass tips are generally more sensitive than carbon, and are what I choose mostly.

So long as you take care that line doesn't wrap around the tip before the cast all should be good.
