I have just been re-reading my copy of “In Search of Big Fish” by Frank Guttfield.
it is a book I first read when still at school, along with David Carl Forbes ,Small Stream Fishing and Tag Barnes, The Exploring Angler. If anyone hasn’t read these book they are well worth a read.
I don’t if anyone can tell me this but where are, Twitchalot Pool, Owls Pit, Black Squirrels and Jakes Place all pet names given to waters in the Frank Guttfield book.
