I didn't even listen to them in the 50's - Journey into Space, Take it from here and Round the Horne were far more entertaining.......................

What more evidence is required to abolish the Close Season on rivers than this ?
What I cared about most was that the Beeb played out the drama on its morning programmes and didn't let me wait for the lunchtime broadcast

Shame she stabbed him - I was hoping she was going to poison him or crown him with the Tuna Bake - or even pour boiling custard over him - that really would have been his fault for complaining about 'shop' custard not being as good as home-made!
