So I said
Then I spotted a 8ft 2.75tc rod in the tackle shop
The rod looked ideal for margin fishing for carp and at £25 well I just had to buy it
Fished with it last week and caught a couple of carp around 8lb
Tonight I had a quick 1 and half hours from 6:30 till 8 sweet corn in the margin then set up the 8ft rod and waited after half hour the carp were munching on the bait
Float dipped and after 5 minutes a carp of about 13lb was banked
The rod is nice and light and just the job for evening margin carp fishing
